What are you talking about?
Yea no, none of that is in good faith as the people saying want "integration" into their personal form of indoctrination.
You aren't going to have teachers explain this https://twitter.com/EdgarOve/status/1679691767258513409 as inorganic. The ideas introduced are very selective, just as they complain about others being selective, special pleading as always.
Its very clear certain agendas are putting children at harm, you won't let them hear that argument though.
... and oranges.
Because of the assaults & attacks on education by the radical swing of one side, kids have started to google things to become more aware of the topics, since it's now illegal for schools to do to their jobs. This poses serious dangers because there is a lot of misinformation on the internet which the sites refuse to remove, endangering/harming kids more.
If kids do not have access to trustworthy and legitimate information, that is going to harm them way more than this trustworthy and legitimate information itself ever would.
Everybody knows it's just a lame-ass attempt by activists of a failed ideology to push their ideology onto the one age group still naive enough to believe their nonsense. Parents know this, and demanded action be taken, and it has been. This is why parents overwhelmingly support the legislation, and the number of people who oppose it are overwhelmingly without kids of their own.
Just leave kids alone.
As for the legislation, it is not true that parents overwhelmingly support this. If that were the case, this would be applied throughout the country. This is tiny meaningless minority in comparison to the larger scale, Florida represents 6% of the country of which not nearly everyone supports DeSantis.
The irony at saying "just leave kids alone" when you are supporting legislation which directly dictates how children are raised and what they can learn.
No, we're not, The law has nothing to do with gays, you know that because we've already pointed it out, several times. You're simply pushing a bad-faith argument to troll for your own entertainment.
Also, You don't live in the US, you don't know those parents, you don't speak to them, you don't have the slightest clue what they think or believe. It's just another bad faith argument. And I'm not even the first or only person to point out and call you out for your obvious trolling behavior.
That is the starting point.
I've seen the legislation and what is explicitly states. It prohibits "instruction to sexual orientation & gender minority in classrooms". That is, how it is written there. Mentioning of these groups will easily, and very quickly, be interpreted as "instruction to".
So yes, it is quite literally "don't say X" law.
which at first glance sounds fine
but then you remember that, people are constantly being gender in a multitude of scenarios, including kids, and that kids see straight couples all the time, all over the place
that kids are shown this as the norm
and that causes issues when any kind of exception comes
a girl who likes girls, a boy who would like to wear dresses, a kid with two fathers, those things happen more often than the word "exception" would have you believe, and with this law in effect these things can't be talked about
of course, none of this would cause any confusion if this wasn't a strictly cisheteronormative society, if this wasn't a society that simply assumed everyone is cis and straight and that there's no need to consider any other scenario
but alas, this is where we are, these things end up needing to be explained sooner or later, and this law makes it so it can only be talked about later, leaving queer kids to figure themselves out through other means, assuming they realize they are queer and don't end up repressing any idea of it to be "healthy" or "normal"
