Where do people hear this kind of stuff? You are speaking nothing but propaganda, what facts do you have to back it up?
No, none of the people here that think school teachers should influence small children have kids. Laws for thee, not for me.
I don't believe that parental authority is infinite, and applies to every part/sector of the kid's life. Because, kids will learn a lot of things about the world that don't come from their parents. This includes through their own actions as well as the school. And that's an equally valuable part of growing up, combined with parenting.
As for schools, and what the original topic implies.. schools have a specific task of introducing and integrating the kid into the society. Part of that task includes making them aware of the different groups of people which exist in that society. This is very obvious. Putting sex education aside which should be age-limited; if we are systematically silencing this type of information, then we are actually doing a lot of harm for children all around the country and the world.
introduced florida bills H1421, S1320, H0999, and S1674
Then to be honest, your opinion is worthless.
If you don't have kids, or are a parent, you have no idea what you are talking about.
" schools have a specific task of introducing and integrating the kid into the society"
Absolutely not. As a parent, no one else has the right to tell my child what to believe and value, that is my exclusive right.
Again, you don't have kids, you have no idea what you are talking about. Until you are a parent, you will never know.
how old are you? 30, 50? how many kids do you have?
either way it's really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sad that you don't know basic things to avoid in parenting that a 21 year old with zero interest in having kids knows
Say whatever you want, until you have kids, you will never know what it means. Ask any parent, they will tell you the same thing.
I'm in my 40's by the way.
Ironically people who say "let children be children" and "give them peace to grow up" and "leave kids alone" are some of the biggest advocates for dictating that process of growing up. To a much higher extent than what the school supposedly does.
It's still the parents' kid. Not the state's kid.
Exactly. They have no skin in the game. They just talk.
