Yes, that Racedepartment website was very helpful for us for ridiculous amount of mods.

I still remember the joy when i finally downloaded the 2004 shark-nose Williams-BMW with its special sound mod. I remember driving that machine more than 100 hours in total. It was such a joy in my earlier Pentium 4 machine. It was sometime in 2005-2008.

F1 2023 can NEVER give me such entertainment now. Not even 40% of it.

Yeah, there were an instane amount of mods. Whole conversion mods as well. Lovely stuff, I think I played that game for over a decade, though later on it shared the playtime with DTM Race Driver 3. Quite loved that one as well.

XCom. It's why I came to Steam in the first place. I lost my stack of ten floppy disks and couldn't play it anymore. Steam was the only place that had it.

I still play that game.

Yeah xcom is great. I would like if they would focus on some horror like in the first games first mission. That would be great

Some good stuff here. Og diablo is still the best and i think nedd for speed underground is the best in ther series

From Underground onwards, the theme of NeedForSpeed has changed. First 6 games had that original vibe always, that can't be found in other NFS games later on (except "The Run" i will put its Main Theme below so those who well know original 6 games can understand what i mean) whereas that 2003 Underground game started a MUCH different vibe altogether, having only "racing theme" left continued. Having said that, i have completed NFS Underground in ITS TIME, so i am well aware what that game brought to the table at that time. I also liked Underground, BUT, it belonged to another series, maybe like "Underground" as a sub-division of the Original Need For Speed franchise. Due to this abrupt change in the franchise theme, gamers got confused and developed an unquenchable nostalgia element for the first 6 games. Forza Horizon franchise owes its popularity to the original 6 NeedForSpeed games and Mercedes-Benz World Racing and its successor World Racing 2 which came back to Steam last year with Championship Edition with an awesome MOD support.
