Doesn't matter. I won't be playing it. I haven't played any of those games or any like it since PS2 era, so I'd have to actively WANT to play this game, and now I don't so it's not hard for me to pass on it.

Old BG1 player here. I just dont understand even WHY Larian spend so much money to secure the BG licence when a simple AD&D would have sufficed ... what is the link of BG3 with BG1 or 2 ? One cameo ? Two references ?

Nah, squirrel is in game footage. Someone from Larian tought it would be a quirky idea, and someone(s) else worked their arses to render those graphics - shocked squirrel included. So fun ! So quirky ! Awwww ! ... /gone puking a bit
Personnal opinion : the squirel bit "cherry on top" was ... very very TOO much, they could have abstained from this.

The bear must be Wilson, it's an ester egg from BG2. Beamdog added LGBT contents with Siege of Dragonspear. This new company who made the 3rd episode could have added something else lol. I don't know yet.
