Asking Gen Z stupid basic question videos are manipulated.
I refuse to believe that you can meet that many dumb young people, but maybe...maybe they are not staged. Grabbing the worst responses to frame it prefectly, and the viewers will eat it up.
Here's a random youtube comment:
"As a 17 year old member of this Generation I am truly embarrassed by my generation. I asked my little sister these questions and she aced them. I will be forever grateful for the education my parents gave me because I cant even fathom this much stupidity. I truly hope that this was faked or that these people are the vast minority or the future of this country is screwed." :DSTpoop:

There's only a very small minority of peoples doing REALLY stupid things just to get likes or views on YT . You also have the most stupid followers that will try to imitate them, but they realise at the first try that it was a very bad idea and they stop (fortunately)

Point is, most peoples like to see idiots break their faces (and other things) but most of those incidents are caught on phones with unlucky and let's also say peoples of questionable judgement . You see a lot of them cause everyone owns a phone. The more "normal" peoples should tell them not to do that instead of giggling and taking the vid but welll... there's money to be made with a good video.

You're just figuring this out now? That you can edit a video to include only a few clips of a few people, out of hundreds asked and interviewed to create the illusion of something being normal that actually isn't? I'm shocked! Now you know how propaganda works. Sensationalizing the view points you want promoted, marginalizing those you don't.

I never believed it, but i got mad that many people eat that false info about their generation, thinking they are smart than everyone else, that i needed to talk about it.

Such propaganda and methods are used everywhere. In most of what you think you know about any group of people. It's not just Youtubers doing this, media corporations, polling data, it's all this same level of deceptive, weighted ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ designed to convey some ideas as being more popular than they really are. You're noticing it on the micro scale, but this sort of stuff is pretty common.

Put ten Gen Zrs in a room with a landline phone that's ringing. What do you get?

A missed call.

Heh, I know, but the joke is that they won't want to answer it :)

I love older technology too. Vinyl record player? I want one. Why? Idk, looks cool, and the way it works is impressive

Or maybe questions like how many continents there are, or knowing about countries is pointless and isn't a determiner in any way of the intelligence of people? Knowledge doesn't equal intelligence, how many times will I have to repeat this.

Gen Zs are the smartest generation yet, in terms of pure intellect, not what they choose to do or learn.

Roflmao, I wouldn't go that far. There's nothing to base that on.

Where do you know 100 people that tell you the color of orange juice is purple? The american civil war was between russia and ukraine. The number of states in the usa is 37. The statue of liberty was a gift from china. A spider has 6 legs. etc
