I also eat a spoonful of it.
I have no other use for it to be honest.
You see… i know what it’s like to be helpless. You can’t fight fate.
I’m joking!! I won’t do such thing to you. *pats head*
Try different brands or buy local, or try a different type of honey. My personal favorite type that I've tried is a local blueberry honey
:)
If you want to test it, buy some jars of honey. Transfer the honey in new jars and seal them. If it doesn't crystallise after a few months, then it has added sugar.
Another tip for spotting fake honey. Let it drip slowly out of the the jar. Also move the jar up and down at a slow-medium pace while doing this. You should get a continuous stream of honey. If the stream gets interrupted then it has added sugar.
Outside of raising the bees yourself and making honey, good luck finding honey without added sugar in the US of A.
Otherwise, there are tons of fake honey composed of some sugar syrup mixed with starch. No health benefit, just sugar that not tasting anything like caramel, wich is sugar by itself, too.
You also got to watch what honey you buy. In some Countries it can be stretched with things like Sugar Water, Corn Syrup and does not have to be labeled.
