But if it's into a world like pokemon or something actually cool, then sure I'm down.
1. Its a gamble, I've heard there are shows where dude becomes a vending machine or a dog, its horrible.
2. I don't want to live in a world where God Hand is a video game that doesn't exist.
Happens.
Now if you would excuse me, I got some flags to plant. *gun noises* *jumps away out the window*
The other problem with being isekai'd, is that put simply- we are not special. You won’t be transported to world and be the “chosen one” because that is simply not how life works. You will be random background character #1024.
Subsequently, yes, you would have to lead people based on your “vision” of the future, but now you need to trust that these people will trust you for some reason- You have no status, and if the operating authority sees you as a threat, they may just string you up. Likewise, they may just view you as crazy, which would be a belief further blustered by your inability to create the things you speak of.
I know it sounds cynical, but I just view it as a silly belief to assume you will be some kind of hero automatically and that that life would be much better than this one, when the things you love about modern life are gone. You probably wouldn't even be able to speak their language…
