There's all kinds of movies, but if you get a fixation on violent ones it's all you will see or get your attention. A bit like if all of a sudden you start to spot white cars on the street and pretty soon you'll go wtf! there a sh**t load of peoples driving white cars

Stupid action movies make money. Hence they get shipped to foreigners who like violent movies. Don't forget the movie business is a business. Unlike France or other countries the US govt. doesn't subsidize the film industry.

Really, no drama, no commedy, most of their movies are horrors, often remakes, and violent movies they call action movies. What's wrong with them?

This is due to the fact that in the movie "Cannibal Holocause" there was a term where the actors were mean to disappear, trying to make the movie more realistic. There was actually a trial over that movie. The movie "Salò" was political during the leanin ages in Italy and it was a big diss to the fascists from Mussolini hera, but it was based on torture and sadism from the novel from De Sade. The term sadism come from the name of the authoer of that novel, that was not finished.

Such movies are no diffrent. Trash in trash out, brainless,no real life stories/ substance to connect with ,studio politics, mindless cheesy teen violence, and endless computer effects and marketing.

Movies use to have good stories back in 80s that had no hold back on any of this and this is why old movies are memorable. Modern movies are forgotten in couple of years they are the fast food, endless junk / lowest common denominator/ politicisized/ endless computer effects, and like junk food there is no real substance in sights.

in the USA you see many action movies, and action movies do qualify as violent movies

Don't know how accurate the interweb is about this but...

- American movie releases 2022 (including action movies): #449

- Indian movie releases 2022 (including action movies): #1623

... and most Bollywood movies are action movies so what does this say about Indian people in terms of glorifying violence in movies...
