Best tasting cofee, is, as far as i know, not any kind of "instant" ones. Instant are easy to set up, and that is it.
All instant coffee tastes like trash, thats why normal people have a decent coffee machine at home.

There isn't a "best tasting" instant coffee... instant isn't real coffee... just saying
The darker the roast, the less natural sugar and sweetness and "bright" flavours you'll get in the resulting coffee. So if you're drinking without milk or sugar etc, the lighter you might want your coffee.
Also honestly I would just chug Tim Horton's. Or Nescafe Gold Blend.
