Why is there a lot of racist and anti-LGBT players on the steam platform?

Are you asking why they're on the platform & aren't kicked off yet, or why they exist in the first place.

For racists I suppose it's likely due to being poorly raised, having Low IQ, & bad experiences.

For Anti-LGBT, simple enough their umbrella is so wide that many objectionable stuff fits under it, finding something to complain about is pretty easy, #1 for most is don't parent/talk with my kid about stuff without my say.

As for why they are on steam, because people play games & signup for stuff I don't know

As to why they aren't banned yet, is either they've not been spotted or gotten around to yet or what you'd define as racist/anti whatever isn't distinct enough to qualify as the actual term.

There's a lot of bigots in the world. On the internet they feel safe to spew their hatred. Add the bubbles people grow up in, from 4chan and hateful right wing politicians in the real world, and you get a lot of people with mental illness coming out of the woodwork.

Gamers especially are vulnerable to being brainwashed. That's why conservatives focus on white males to indoctrinate because they're easy pray.

The problem is the discourse is dominated by the extremists of both sides because the media loves crazy and drama. THe more moderate majority tends to get drowned out.

Ehhhh... maybe at one point but I'm seeing less differences between the left and right these days. The left respects you so long as you toe their party line. The minute you have a divergent thought you get cancelled.
