We've got people that can't let things that supposedly happened 2,000 years ago go, but that's okay. Some natives come lamenting things that happened 200 years ago and that's not okay.

As someone pointed out, all countries nowadays rest in territories previously occupied by others at some point or another.
More important than just a mere return is providing incentives to keep native culture alive, and integrated with the country at large, because natives, territories/reserves or not, are heavily marginalized in the entire American continent.
