PS - I do not Hate Imperial systems
I do not
I don't
I stand for measurementalismarialismal equality
Even if your system is dumb
I don't hate the Imperial System
I am just used to metric, I was taught it, so it makes sense to me
My parents were taught Imperial system, so that made sense to them. My best friend was in school when the systems changed over - that generation had a lot to deal with...
Most of the differences are just aesthetic like 0°C being the freezing point of water and stuff like that. It looks nice but that's about it.
I still prefer metric, but it really isn't that big a deal.
But I hate to break it to you, but the world isn't united on time measurement, either.
Not all countries use the 1-hour time zones (some even use a 16-minute time zone. Ugh.), nor do they all agree to Daylight Savings Time (even in the USA, not all states use that).

Side note: The months length being a pain... you can thank the Roman Empire for that. They wanted to create two summer months to glorify Julius Caesar and Augustus Caesar.
So they pushed the months following ahead, and stole days from Feburary so that those months, (July and August) would be both equal and prominent.
Also messed up the months names. September was originally supposed to be the 7th months ("sept" = seven), October was to be the 8th ("octo" = eight), and so on.
