Government wants Alex Jones' Cat
I've just heard that they want to take Mushu away from Alex Jones and his kids!

https://youtu.be/egh9_PsfTQ8

Drawing a pet that his kids also love into this. It's just next-level ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
The cat has absolutely nothing to do with this.
The supposed value of the cat contributes next to nothing to the money he owes to the families (or probably mostly their lawyers) from the lolsuit.

This is just about dealing as much emotional damage to Jones and his loved ones.
Very vindictive and plain evil.

The destruction of Alex Jones continues.

His case is the case of defaming murder victims and their families, inciting horrific harassment.

So in all of that, what shows that he is unfit to take care of an animal to the extent it needs to be removed by the state?
Contempt of Civil Disturbance is what the full term is called, or just simply Contempt of Court for most others, the US is..rather strict on its court rooms...
Source: Convicted liar and criminal Alex Jones claims the government wants his cat.

Very credible source to be basing an entire video on.

And then TC doubled down on all of this to post a thread that's just going to spread rumors.

And then many of you took it for the truth anyways and argued about it.

None of it substantiated at all by anything credible.

Supreme court has struck such things down every time it’s come up.

Florida judges are pretty infamous for assigning this kind of punishment in order to kick the case out of their jurisdiction on appeal. Many have lost their jobs over it.

I get why judges do this. Few judges in lower courts want such big and controversial cases on their desks, Too much can go wrong and they don't get paid more for the risks involved with these cases.

Isn't there a way for judges to either delegate it to a higher court outright or at the very least request some sort of advisory ruling?

Actually this reminds me, Jones had a case a decade back where the judge ruled similarly. Basically started a fundraiser for his cat, then had an open and shut appeal.

The judge was later disbarred for taking a bribe, as well as accepting kickbacks from fundraising for the cat.

Last time it happened Jones’ lawyer defended him by claiming this was a form of awareness campaign directed at problematic practices, but they were careful to only run this scam in jurisdictions where judges are at fault for accepting bribes.

Really? Iirc, they thrown out all relevant appeals in Jones' current cases based on some American legal sensitivities I can't reason with.

Jones has made a business of partnering with lawyers for the sake of creating sympathy cases in the past. Misfiling appeals in the wrong court to make the situation appear more dire is common for them.

Many states have constitutional clauses which prevent judges from opting out of ruling on a case; many such states make a fair amount of money acting as havens for these kinds of cases to happen.

lol neither did the families he's terrorized for decades.

No sympathy, he and his deserve what they get.

Imagine supporting removing an animal from someone over a crime that has nothing to do with animals.

This is like someone getting convicted of assault and cheering on the state removing their dog 'just cause'.

Imagine smiling like a doughnut for alex jones.
Says who? The guy that milked millions as a con man? The myriad other sympathetic youtubers?

Is there any actual proof to this, or is the OP (as usual) just using convenient low hanging fruit to express their dislike of 331 million people based on youtube?

I don't support him, I'm quite neutral on the whole thing. I'm just disgusted to see people threatening to bring emotional harm to an animal, in a twisted attempt to bring emotional harm to a human.

I think it further pushes our world into an anarchic state, where nothing is going too far, nor anything too great a punishment for the people we dislike.

Oh look, a homophobic remark.

Neat.
To be honest, he kind of brought it up on himself by disregarding the allegations against him. If he showed up in court to defend himself, maybe he could have shown that he had sufficient reason to believe what he said true to disprove actual malice, or tried to claim special media privileges. He could have insisted on a jury trial if he thought the judiciary system would treat him unfairly or sought out an appeal. He could have at least talked down the amount to something reasonable, or sought out a settlement. But instead he chose to scoff off and ignore the threat of the allegations made against him entirely. You just don't get to act like you are above the law by pick and choosing which courtroom trials you take seriously or not, and it is unsurprising that he is suffering for his act of hubris.

With that having been said, it seems kind of heartless and cruel to both the family and the animal to treat a beloved household pet as a luxury asset to be pawned off like a gold watch, esp. since $2,000 is barely even a drop in the bucket of a billion dollar debt. I hope he can find some kind of loophole that lets it stay with the family. Maybe he could argue it's the wife's cat so he can't sell it off? I don't know.

Pets have no recognized asset value, and in the rare cases where peoples pets do actually get seized (because they have no means of appeal) the court simply puts the pet down. The judges responsible for these cases usually wound up needing a change of career in addition to facing legal action for emotional damages.

It’s a draconian legal practice which disproportionately targets poor people for no real reason.
His "buisness" is harrasing others with made up fantasies. He´s treated way too kind for what he does on a daily basis.
it knows things
they need to silence that cat asap
common alex jones L.
Next up, Alex explodes the cover-up of Liberals on his HOA demanding he remove his Christmas lights.
This is a country with no law, where life is worthless and evidence or proof doesn't matter. These sorts of stories upset people who haven't caught in to this yet.
Is this cat* some sort of a rare breed that they need to confiscate a living property?
