You know the repulssive effect that grow when robots look more and more like human but clearly aren't ? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uncanny_valley
The same about men who wear skirts, they just look cringe and nothing else, except for a few peoples who fantasize about it for unknowed reasons. And I don't talk about ancient clothes here, I talk about those who try to look like women.

usually, when dressing and interacting with people, we are often expected to try and accentuate certain aspects of ourselves, while minimizing certain other aspects
drag is the act of doing the opposite— accentuating things even if they are expected to be minimized
drag is a form of self-expression, and challenging of social norms
it isn't limited to men, nor limited to wearing skirts, and to call drag performers "men in skirts" vastly undermines the purpose of drag
you mean like femboys?
because no, they pretty much never fall in the uncanny valley
i think you just can't handle the idea of men not being pure masculinity, and that honestly sounds sus
why do you want other men to be masculine so much? to oogle at their masculinity???
many do
I haven't talked about masculinity at all here, I've talked about men who dress like women that look cringe and fall in the uncanny valley. Here a good example about what I talk about : https://hollywoodlife.com/pics/celebrity-men-in-skirts-guys-wearing-justin-bieber-kanye-west/men-in-skirts-11
Yes, they look cringe.
are you drag queen?? you say "we". talking about them using "we"
i am confused.
feel free to not answer my question if you don't like
They do not want to doubt themselves or their hateful conviction.
give them enough time and they may
QT : I haven't seen that my link changed with the pictures you actually see, the first picture if you scroll up show a masculine men, but with a skirt and he look as cringe as other examples. It's not about genetics here, wearing dress for a man is just cringe, no matter your genes.
Lora : Why do you talk about trans peoples here ? It's not even the subject. There is a long history of men dressing like women and it was always cringe, even way before we talk about trans and stuff like that. And nobody hate them, it's more disgust than hate, that's not the same emotion.
