The 10th guy doesn’t brush at all, reasoning that a healthy screen of the right plaques will prevent sugar penetration from occurring and brushing only disrupts the body’s natural defenses. Furthermore, 100% uptime on plaque removal is impossible and the cleaning cycle itself tends to do as much harm as good.
Literally that outlandish and strange and contrary to the usual culture.
Nah the abridged series are making fun of the plot holes in the show, while also being much quicker (hence the abridged name). They're pretty entertaining actually. I like the DBZ abridged a lot. Even the creator of dragon Ball thought the abridged show was funny, and even used elements from the abridged version for dragon ball super.
It was a little off-putting but they were nice people and it made them happy so i didn't really care what they were into.
It just seems to be one of those things that people take to extremes more often than not. You are either obsessed with it, or dont want anything to do with it. I've never really met a 'moderate' when it comes to anime. Extremist behavior of any kind tends to put people off so that probably explains why a percentage of people actively dislike it.
An enormous amount of Japanese anime ends the same way, even if based on a highly successful manga series, so there’s a lot of crap in the medium.
But there’s also a gigantic and well developed market with a lot of internal competition, so there is also a good chance of something actually really solid and good being made.
People tend to see one side or the other, and I appreciate how cognizant Japan is of this phenomenon. I also loathe the people who take advantage of people using it.
There's less stigma attached to being fans of western fantasies and collecting their ♥♥♥♥ to decorate your rooms than anime. Satire as in parody? Yeah, I can think of the ones based on anime "tryhard" stereotypes like One Punch Man, Hajime no Ippo, Konosuba, Mob Psycho 100 and My Hero Academia.
What a bunch of crap. This is one of those annoying generic "arguments" that people bring up when they have nothing better to say.
If it was popular to hate something popular, then that something wouldn't be popular in the first place, don't you think? If it's popular to hate it, that means most people hate it. How can most people hate it while most people like it at the same time?
The most common is the creepy tendency to sexualize underage girls. Anime often makes an effort to make their show *barely* legal as a result. That's the reason for the average US citizen.
The less common reason is it appeals to a very different culture of groupism. Providing a fantasy for people who probably don't feel unique in their society (I'm talking about Japanese social culture). Because of this, we get tropes that don't appeal to a western audience as much... And it really is the same. Damn. Tropes every time.
But Hellsing UA looks pretty good anyway, I'll probably watch some of that, even if it calls itself a fan made parody.
