Do you still play at 1080p?
Im curious how many of you are still playing at 1080p? Or 2k? To be honest full hd looks fine but once you go 4k you never look back

Sometimes OP, depends on the game. Whatever helps retain the original quality and / or maintain framerates.

If you had my eyes you wouldn't mind " NOT " 4K

Absolutely. 1080p is just fine. Yes, 1440p and 4k is nice, but not so much nicer that I feel like I'm somehow missing out.

lol... when I get 4K it will be 20K...

What do I look like I'm made of money?... I don't need the biggest monitor or graphic card.

I run games at 2k mostly. I like to be able to push in-game settings like textures, ambient occlusion and contact shadows among others up to the highest and running in 4k that's not always possible depending on the game. I also prefer higher frames, so again 4k really will kill my frame rate on some games so then what's the point of having higher resolution if it's less playable.

I run 1080 when enabled 3D SBS on a few select games with a hmd

1440p 27 inch.

i stick to my assesment that 4k only makes sence for screens mininum 40 inch large..

I like 120-160hz, below 1ms responce time, G-Sync and crystal clear IPS or even plasma screen.
and a 16:9 or 4:3 ratio as I need the height for my usage.
more than I see the need for 4k.

this 27 inch screen 1440p that has all that was 800 euro.. and the only one that excisted that had it all in 2016.

screens of 55 inch with all that and 4k are over 4000 euro..

my gpu could support 4k and 120 fpm but screens that have the specs I want only just start to apear.. and are very costly.

4k on any screen below 32 inch minumum : pointless cannot see the diff.
4k on a screen with only 60hz : you ruin your experience with tired eyes
4k on a screen without Sync : you ruin your experience by tearing
4k on a screen with over 1ms responce : I guess you lile loosing
4k on a screen with is TN : you must like faded and disfigured colours and to not see halve your screen due vieuwingangels

My laptop is 1080p but my monitor that I use more often is actually 900p. I also have a TV that is used and I'm not sure is 720p or 1080p but I sometimes play newer console games on that. I also have a couple CRT's (480i obviously) for older consoles and not to mention my phones, handheld, and wiiU which are all sorts of resolutions from 150x100 to whatever resolution the Galaxy A12 is.

Mostly.
My monitor still has a sticker on it about being Vista approved.

I agree with this and wrote similar in another thread.
1440p is the perfect sweetspot for 27-32"
