Do you still play at 1080p?

Im curious how many of you are still playing at 1080p? Or 2k? To be honest full hd looks fine but once you go 4k you never look back

I'm on a low end pc and mainly play old games. I have no need to upgrade, have other things I would rather spend my money on.

Playing games at 20fps is horrible. When i try to play bloodborne which runs at a solid 30fps even this gives me a headache

I sometime play at 720P even when my computer can handle 1080P , lot's of games with simple art styles like tales of vesperia doesn't change much when you increase the resolution.

Well, experiences are subjective. I wish I could get 30 fps in every game that I played - that would be a dream. It would feel like a smooth experience to me, having been accustom to playing at laggy framerates for many years.

Once you play the same game at 60 it changes everything. But if you are used to a low framerate it’s not bad for you

If a game doesn't have windowed mode it's going in the bin. I have a 1080p monitor and I like to multitask to an extent, ergo I prefer being able to put the game into windowed mode. Preferably 1440x900, as most other resolutions are too small - with the exception of 1280x720 if I'm recording some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ gaming content - or too large.

No, borderless windowed mode and windowed fullscreen don't count. Borderless windowed and windowed fullscreen are heresy, and their proponents hereteks. Do not insult the Omnissiah with such nonsense.

On a 4k monitor these resolutions are horrible. Maybe there is some upscaling technique for that

So 4k monitors with 240hz are really pricey and I just end up getting 2 monitors with 240hz for 220 and 170 dollars

Until they make 4k monitors with great colour accuracy more affordable, I'm content with 1440p for the time being.
