Yes, pls kind Sir. Do you have some cookies too?
If there's no agreement or no disagreement, it can't be called discussion anymore.
Besides suggesting something, I have no idea how else do you plan to participate in discussions.. Unless keeping a watch over what's happening or going on here is considered as such, which I do doubt it is.
Oh, yeah! How about moderating? You are, in a way, taking part in the discussion.. In a way..
I'm not against it though, it makes for some highly entertaining threads.
That's a good advice, but it doesn't really answer the question at hand.
sry to say you can't do that much either. arguments are actually a natural process. what's avoidable is making garbage arguments where people just try to have the last word without the slightest ounce of good faith.
The point is kinda answering it, stick to yours points, you not here to change people mind but rather giving facts and participating in it. If it becomes argumentive simple ignore them and move on, because after that point is waste of time.
Some topics can be discussed without being argumentative while others cannot. There is variation. You can avoid topics that lean towards argumentation.
I totally see your point, but that actually is refraining from partaking.
Imo? Nothing =D
The point is it gets to argumentive it has become lost cause because it get to a point that is just arguing. Those who have facts and can counter at any time with facts and well structured counter points, rather than arguing.
