Nobody, but the original actor is fit and worth of playing the Indiana Jones character. Nobody else, and there are no exceptions besides the original actor himself.
Back then, Lucas was in charge, spammed out movies and he sold it to the worst company that won't stop creating new ones because... MERCHANDISE and RIDES!
Lucas, Spielberg and Disney want to run them into the ground. Every last penny counts until Disney rules next to Amazon as world nations.
He basically can't with his injuries.
If it HAD to go on, the character of Indiana Jones shouldn't be replaced,I find that approach in general to be disrespectful to the previous actor and movies. I would prefer a way to work in a way story-wise where a new character can pick up where the last left off. Like a descendant or acquaintance.
No... just no...
No "replacements" "reboots" "reimagins" or "remakes"... just this:
...that Disney gobbled up.
But they will probably wait quite a few years.
