Replace Indiana Jones Actor?

Let’s face it, Harrison Ford is near death’s door and Dial of Destiny will probably be his last movie. Should the Indiana Jones franchise die with Ford or should someone else be chosen to play as Indiana Jones. I personally think Chris Pratt is a good candidate to take Ford’s place.

Nobody, but the original actor is fit and worth of playing the Indiana Jones character. Nobody else, and there are no exceptions besides the original actor himself.

I agree with you on the goodness of Chris Pratt, but my vote would be to let it die.

If it HAD to go on, the character of Indiana Jones shouldn't be replaced,I find that approach in general to be disrespectful to the previous actor and movies. I would prefer a way to work in a way story-wise where a new character can pick up where the last left off. Like a descendant or acquaintance.

But they will probably wait quite a few years.
