I am not a big fan or either Futurama or Simpsons, though at least I find them funny sometimes.
Cleveland Show for me is a complete bore. He was better off in Family Guy.
Family Guy: The best!
The Cleveland Show: Vastly underrated.
American Family: It never resonated with me.
Cleveland Show < American Dad < Family Guy
Tbh, American Dad and Family Guy are pretty close and it really depends on my mood which one I'll watch over the other, but I give deference to the first iteration of his shows.
the Cleveland show has some funny episodes, the one with the rat comes to mind, but mostly it comes up short.
This means it's all trash retroactively.
not only great to mid level comedy but it's ALL STOP MOTION!!!!
damn which episode and what happened
s1 god tier witty like a dilbert comic
s2-5 were edgy but still pretty great
after s6 p sure even seth admits in several episodes how the higher up big wigs change everything and prolong something. The whole Class holes episode was a very unsubtle way ot showing that lol.
i just looked online and a lot of people are complaining that episode but i couldn't find anything specific. that sucks. what was woke about it? i haven't watched Family Guy in years.
if it's recent it wont be online for awhile
episode im referring to is when stewie finds a script brian wrote several years prior in the basement. People read it and say it's actually good. He pitches it to tv executives.
It was a drama about a dad going back to school with a kid. But the executives start
1 change casting james woods. Then another change more characters eventually turning them into a comedy. Audience loves it and gets a couple seasons green lit. Then the ratings and approvals plummet and he tries to say why but they radio slience him and he quits.
