If women laid eggs
would we eat the unfertilized ones?

Even better question. Would we eat the hatched ones?

An egg inside an egg that is inside an egg that is also inside an egg.
It'd be highly unlikely unless in areas of famine. I remember reading in the 90's cannibalism was...taboo but practiced in certain parts areas. Africa, certain tribal island nations, and famine stricken Asian countries.

We don't really have a whole lot to really compare to, cuz for example: Chickens lay eggs, and they 100% will cannibalize their own eggs. When they do that, you need to sadly kill the chicken before the behavior spreads.

I read that turkeys will actually pack at their own wounds, realize they taste good, and keep doing it.

It reminds me of this old question from school years:

"have you ever drink cytoplasm in your life?"

Interesting question. It depends I guess. There are people that do drink breast milk, not just their baby, and have no hesitation about it. I wouldn't say "we", but there will be people that do.

Breast milk was a common drink among Chinese Emperors, regardless of age. I've read the very wealthy in China still do (emulate?) this.

but it's also inside this egg as well, and another would be in side that egg as well.

Yep. And those that do drink breast milk, said that they drink because it is healthy and beneficial when they are sick as well. Egg is beneficial to our body, so there's no reason one shouldn't, unless that individuals are uncomfortable consuming what came out of their body.

Except for thousand year old eggs, do people eat any fertilized eggs?
