How can they "not know him" yet condemn and crucify him? Does not compute.....
A better place, you mean like pushing for equality among all people regardless of race, sexual orientation, religious affiliation or lack thereof? Yeah, Christians are fighting us every step of the way.
Maybe you should put down the sword before suing for peace.
Ehh, I just wanted to be wholesome, you know. I don't force you to believe in my religion, but you can at least let me in peace

religion is essentially a set of moral guidelines for those too inept to determine them for themselves... good enough to keep around but not actually legitimate in any way.
but hey, if it helps you treat people better and not fear death then good for you. :)
edit: thought actually it's probably healthy to fear death... it prevents reckless behaviours like those you see from the middle eastern religions.
Those who live by the sword shall die by the sword. Sound familiar?
Only Tacito drops a line about "Christus" who was given the death penalty by Pilato, but no details about the trial come from the Romans.
You know, I only want you and me to live eternal life in heaven, is it that bad? I only wanted to say that im gonna pray for you all, that's all
If you don't feel open to being criticized, do the thing that's proper anyway and keep it to yourself.
I don't feel like you would critize me, I more fell like you would suggest that I'm idiot just because I'm Christian
thanks for saying it, now I don't have to :)
edit: ..and besides, my contention is not over whether or not he existed, just on whether or not he was 'just another guy'. MY thinking is that, if there was some person that walked around doing actual impossible acts, that would go 'viral' like nothing ever seen before....and ehh ya it sort of did, but not to the degree that I would expect. It's literally proof of divinity or supernatural existence. heh. Even for back then, I feel the impact would've been bigger.
Why you so rude?
You logic is basically "if I don't see it, it don't exist"
You can't see oxygen too, does it mean that you don't believe in oxygen?
