Yeah I remember that game. but I dunno its name. it looked pretty awesome. lol.
Isn't that just a variation of magical girls in general?
Still, just to be on the safe side -- I didn't imply that the series had an amazing world or amazing script -- I don't know it at all.
It's just that, you see stuff that you wouldn't believe. My standard example is Galaxy Railways, which has (steam) trains in space, but its just one out of many, and applies to game worlds as well.
These guys just have the "audacity" to basically do whatever they feel like doing, because it's fiction. And, possibly more important, "anime" is way more common than our "cartoons" (which are seen as stuff for children), and putting a train into space, or transforming a girl into a battleship isn't all that expensive if you don't need a big special effects team to pull it off, "just" a reasonably talented drawer/animator (and, preferably, story-writer make it fly).
The train idea isn't that bad Dr Who did it too with trains in space and the Orient Express in space as a train but in space. So it's not a new idea that I can deal with just the idea of cute girls with battleship parts grafted onto them it's kind of weird to think that's a thing.
They exist
Oh Japan......"shakes head" :)
Which hey, if there's one thing the animators for transformers know, its how to make anything turn into vehicles, including dinobot and beastbots, or even Unicron's ability to morph into literally a Borg sphere and eat other worlds.
So them animating a anime robot (I think its a robot else if thats a human I have several questions on biology for that anime) girl turning into a car should be mundane a task!
Weird?... maybe...
But at least they have ideas... American shows only know how to copy...
I can't argue with that. I agree.
American shows do like to play it safe.
Well go ahead ask questions.... This thread I started is getting stale.
the biology questions should be interesting, considering in the 80s there was the American show Turbo Teen about a teenage boy who turns into a car due to an accident with a beam weapon.
OMG those wheels came out of her bum
