Absolute waste of time, security risk and unhealthy for developing youth. Tons of young kids here are just given a device and the videos keep looping and scrolling to keep them "entertained" while parents relax, not caring about what they're watching, which is mostly trash.
Not to mention certain creeps you find there lurking on preteens who upload videos of themselves, it's pretty sad to see. Recently I've read of a case of a girl who literally died doing a challenge for TikTok and that's just heartbreaking.
