What is you favourite Star Trek Series?

Greetings fellow Trekkies, normal enjoyers, dislikers and other human beings watching TV shows!
For quite some time of friend of mine and I are wondering what is considered the best of all Star Trek shows among the fan base. So one day, we decided to look it up in various surveys and on forums, to come to the conclusion that we must have either watched Star Trek with the wrong pair of eyes equipped or that teletext surveys just ain't doing it. So I decided to ask you guys out there, what you consider to be the best of all Trek!

TNG is a good show, it has good morals, good acting, it doesn't "Preach" to the audience - it just gets a move on with its story. what do you dislike about it?:

Yeah I remember that one, thats also where they went all pew pew and pow pow and then boom and yeah.

Anyway,

for those interested, while writing this post the favourite series of this thread is TNG, 3 votes ahead of TOS.

I also counted the "second best" nomitations which is lead by DS9, 3 votes ahead of TNG.

Funnily DS9 has been voted as "the best to me" for only 2 times, while leading the secondary board with 7 votes.

The only series to have been nominated only once so far is ENT, with only one vote as a favourite.

Edit: while writing this post, ENT received an additional vote, making VOY the series with least nominations as favourite series, but still having 2 more votes as second favourite than ENT, which has not been nominated for this category yet.

Well, I guess there is nothing wrong about doing so, most episodes are pretty timeless and don't require watching additional episodes before or afterwards to entertain, that means as long as it isn't all he does all day. Then again, even if he does not do anything else all day, it would probably still be his good right to do so I guess

I grew up on Star Trek: Voyager, and one of my favorite games was Elite Force. Star Trek Armada 1 was another. Eyeing both on GoG.

Discovery got my attention, and while the first season was a slog, I thought the finale of Season 2 was worthwhile, at least for Burnham's arc starting with the first episode of Season 1. I might skip the whole mirror universe portion if I were to rewatch it. Stopped watching when Season 2 came to a close.

I am enjoying New Voyages. It has gotten me into The Original Series.

I'm a simple man, I like spaceships. TOS, TNG, DS9, VOY, ENT, DIS, NV.

The only episode of Picard I've seen was the Season 1 finale. I flew the Avenger class in Star Trek Online, so seeing the prototype for that ship as canon was cool.

I'm watching Andromeda now, it is free on YouTube.

There is a reason CBS used Star Trek as the launch title for CBS All Access, and has repeatedly been a flagship series of Paramount, including Paramount+.

Deep Space 9.

Voyager was the first so it has a special place in my heart, even though I know it's the more flawed show. TNG I watched at an age where I didn't understand it, so I should probably rewatch it. Enterprise was fine as well, but it didn't capture my interest the same way as the others. Still finished it.

What point are you in Andromeda? I don't want to ruin it but it goes really downhill after the first season ends, which is a shame considering how good the first season was. Season 2 and 3 are mediocre and the last two seasons are just terrible.

I really liked all five of these ones.

Voyager kind of wavered a bit at time with boring filler episodes.

Enterprise kind of fell off when they tried to wrap it up after the Xindi stuff.

The OG series could be, well, interesting at times, but it was still a very fun show to watch and had the best characters of the bunch.

DS9 was mostly great from beginning to end aside from a few episodes.

TNG was amazing from beginning to end. I don't care what people say about it's first couple of seasons not being as good. I liked it all.
