Friendly reminder that Windows is still spyware, even collecting data when debloated. Its newest version, Windows 11 being the greatest offender.

But just sticking to Windows 10 won't keep your data safe. Microsoft started embracing data-mining in the late Windows 7 life-cycle.

If you want to use an up-to-date operating system that puts you in control of your machine, Windows certainly isn't a good option.

Take an example in this based and red-pilled individual.
Or go even further and migrate to OpenBSD or Haiku.
ReactOS is also an alternative… will be… in a couple decades?
And then of course there is Temple OS, fit for only the most devout.

I'm still on Windows 7. If I ever have a reason to upgrade my AM3 hardware I'll just install Arch, or literally install gentoo and build my whole system with -march=native. Never going to use Windows >=8. Everything about them looks and sounds intolerable.

Years ago I was using avisynth and had some projects in mind (never finished), and a few other programs that only ran on windows. Most of that is no longer relevant. Installing latest visual studio and runtime libraries seems to have also made those very programs no longer function anyway.
