Masculinity and Femininity are social constructs that were made a long time ago to ensure boys and girls grew up a certain way, worked a certain way, and play a specific role in society. For instance, women were taught to care deeply about fashion, caretaking, and cleaning, cooking, and the "mother" life style. While boys were taught to go do hard work, show no emotion, be nonsensically detached, and enjoy things like guns, beer, monster trucks and dirt.

Nonetheless, femboys are awesome, and I could probably be a pogs femboy.

I also believe labels are a curse. I do believe a lot of this has been blown out of proportion. Though I dont agree with the other things you said I do get where you are coming from. Some are attracted to themselves. Though some do it because they just like how girls dress, its not because they dont think they are masculine enough or whatever other things you said. I mean some might but I dont really think some of what you said is often common reason.

It depends on your definition of masculinity or femininity. Many people think they are social so a person can choose to be more masculine or more feminine, whereas some people think it's a biological "prison". Fact to the matter though is that we can affect our behavior. A lot.

Parody, itself, is intentional. People don't become femboys, cross-dressers or drag queens with the intention of pretending. Their intention is to express their legitimate interests and feelings.
