Best Gaming Desktop
Which gaming desktop pc brand is the best?

Acer, Skytech, Omen, Etc please name specific one I can look for

Please tell me I don't know much anything about computers or any computer components inside the gaming desktop.

I'm looking forward to buy a new gaming desktop with RTX 3080 Graphic Card good memory size disk but not too expensive price

Water Cooling or Fan Cooling which one is better?

please leave me suggestive tips thanks.

I currently have hp omen obelisk with GTX 1060 gpu which doesnt run well on ultra settings on video games. Whenever i play certain big video game on steam, my desktop heats up and make loud engine noise which I don't like.

My recommendation to you:

Fan cooling is aight as long as you have a good cooler.
You will need a CPU which doesn't bottleneck the RTX 3080 (potentially i9 Gen8 or Ryzen 7 Gen3 or better)

with atleast 16 GB Ram of and 500 GB SSD

sry, i build my own, i dont pay attention to prefab units.

what you can do is post links to stuff you're 'thinking about getting' and we can give you suggestions based on that.

Xotic PC are reasonable for an OEM and don't treat you with contempt.

Do not buy from Amazon or similar - there are nice deals, but also ripoffs, and if you do not know much about this, you are better off sticking to major electronics retailers, and checking their selection there.

Or buy online direct from a large computer manufacturer, i.e. Dell/Alienware, HP, etc.

You also have boutique gaming manufacturers available.

As for cooling, I prefer water cooling.

Build your own custom PC, you can build better for the same price.

Check out desktops at Newegg. If you buy from Newegg at least you'll get a 30 day warranty. Newegg has pretty good customer service.

This one is sold and shipped by Newegg:

Be careful about third-party sellers.

what's your cpu? For CPU I'd go with AMD right now.

My computer specs

Monitor: Hp 27q 59.95 Hz 8 bit 2560 x 1440
CPU - Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700 CPU @ 3.20GHz 3.19 GHz
Installed Ram: 16.0 GB (15.9 GB usable)
System Type : 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Omen by Hp Obelisk Desktop 875-0xxx
GPU - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB
Window 10 Home
Storage: 239 GB SSD, 932 GB HDD

If i buy new different desktop brand like Acer or Skytech or any other desktop brand names instead of Hp Desktop.

Do I have to buy brand new monitor to match for the cables + wires to fit in for that specific gaming desktop?
Because I don't want to buy another new monitor. I already have hp monitor.

For this current desktop I have....My video memory is really low on red dead redemption 2 game.. I can't even play on medium settings. Sure I can run n play the game. but the graphics are horrible few fps drop

I can't upgrade GPU to RTX 3080 for my current desktop. the gpu case is too big for my desktop to fit in

build your own PC by yourself it is not hard.
RTX 3080 is nice but AMD 6800 XT is cheaper with same if not better performance.
for CPU intel 13th gen is insane for gaming i5 13600k is great
32gb RAM.
harddrive Nvme 2tb or 4tb if you can spend more.
air cooling is good if you don't want to overclock. water cooling can be good if you are into overclocking but it is expensive and need maintenance.

I can't speak for most pre-builts, but I've been using a Lenuvo Tower since February and haven't run into any problems yet.

Fan vs Water cooling really depends on preference. If you're playing graphically intensive games, then water may give you a bit of an advantage. But if the games you play aren't really that intensive, then there's nothing wrong with settling for a fan cooler. Hell, it's probably the smarter/cheaper option anyways. Don't overkill if you don't need to, prebuilts are expensive enough as is.
My PC has a fan cooler, just the stock one that came with it and it can handle something like DOOM 2016 without issue or the temperature getting too high. For most games, a fan cooler is perfectly fine for you.

The only "gripe" I have, though this extends to pretty much any prebuilt nowadays, is the lack of a disc drive. You'll have to buy a USB drive yourself or install your own, which since you're asking about prebuilts, I assume you'd rather not install/build it in any way shape or form.

So I can at least vouch that Lenuvos seem to be pretty trustworthy.

Go for a branded piece of garbage.

What do you think of the new fanless small air coolers? Had the idea... now they being released for very thin computers..

That's good man... my idea was more of a fanless vacuum was large and clunky.. not even sure the internal details to these small devices, but would be nice to see more of this kind of innovation.
