Why my bunny keep eating carpet?
He keep bitit carpet, even though he already got a hay and other food, yet he still thinks that carpet is some kind of grass or something.
What to do?

Hmm, I don't much about bunnies beyond their fluff, but maybe switch carpets or cover it in some way?

Because he is honry.
A sprinkle of talcum powder will repel them. :marijaonlooker:
I used to have a house trained rabbit living in my house. He was a Netherland blue dwarf called smokey. He used a cat litter tray for toilet. He didn't eat the carpet, but he didn't eat rabbit food either. He lived on a diet of grass, carrots and chocolate biscuits.

Chocolate is bad for bunnies.

He lived to 11 years old, so I don't think it did him any harm. My hamster also liked chocolate, and I had that for 8 years. I don't know how old she was, she was an adult when I found her.

If he would be hungry he would go eat hay
is your carpet green?
Buy a rug, and replace it when he is done with it.
In the wild, they chew on grass and do a lot of digging, but since your rabbit is indoors (I am guessing), they cannot do that. Have you tried providing an area with a box or something with places they can hide and dig around in?

To the other posters: a rabbit eating carpet usually has nothing to do with hunger; rabbits that are kept indoors often resort to chewing carpet when they are bored.

Their natural instinct is to dig, it's bound to happen when we try to take an animal that is meant to be outdoors and try to keep them indoors. I would create their own area for digging and then reward them for digging in that area.
