Because you've wrote your bunny keeps eating carpet, implying that your pet has done it before and keeps on doing so.
If that's the case, you clearly don't know how to treat your pet properly.
Whilst it can be unhealthy, it is very unlikely they will kill themselves chewing on carpet. It's not like they're actually eating it. Don't pay attention to the people insulting you. It's a normal part of keeping indoor rabbits. They don't know any better.
I should write "my bunny bited carpet" Or what?
Yes, if that's the case "my bunny ate some carpet" or "my bunny bit my carpet" would've been closer to the truth, but likely wouldn't have generated that many reactions.
A pet biting into furniture for fun isn't that unusual (unfortunately), eating it however…
Rabbits' teeth grow continuously throughout their lives. Therefore, it takes a lot of daily chewing and gnawing to keep them worn down to usable lengths. If a rabbit's teeth are not kept at an appropriate length by the natural act of chewing, they will almost certainly become overgrown
Give it stuff to chew on I'm sure pet shops will have things just for that
I give him sticks
