i was reading this article and i am sure it wasn't a great idea selling Tesla shares to buy Twitter for x2 its fair price.
and i was thinking he is not that stupid to do that. something behind the scene going on. or maybe he was drunk or high

Elon Musk mostly inherited his fortune though that doesn't really work like this. It's not that hard to have some business going with this much capital at your disposal. Which all in all doesn't make him smart.

At some point the adoration of the masses becomes addictive and people make increasingly counterproductive decisions to keep the crowd's attention. He really wants to focus on going to Mars or finishing one of the other wonders he has started, but he's human and he likes it when the crowd cheers so he plays the 'free speech champion'.

I think it was Sartre[?] that talked about 'the category of the look', the idea that when attention is focused on you and you are being judged, you are no longer able to be free to be yourself. I think that holds up with how many otherwise intelligent people are going from super stardom on social media to crashing and burning [looking at you Kanye] because they lost any grasp of their own hubris.

Now that he owns the Sword of Damocles, Elon's seeing how empty it is and is acting more and more desperate. I worry that before long he's going to pitch a spaceship made of wood and start peeing in jars.

Which most conservatives already knew, but it's nice to get the confirmation of the fact.

What will be done about it? Probably nothing because the GOP has no teeth. Neither party actually represents their constituents. They both represent the rich exclusively and only make token efforts to appease the public (bread and circus).

The democrats seem to be the favorite because it seems most rich are perverts and love the sexual deviancy being pushed by that platform.

Yeah but that imply at a base that these peoples aren't completely delusionnal, unwell and confused(Kanye) or that they really are intellectuals (Elon). Many of which celebs aren't any of this these days anyways. Being inclined to have an infatuation due to the public all cheering you and losing it is not what is happenning here. That's litteraly their normal behavior.

I do believe he can definitely work out something of the sort, the Twitter acquisition could potentially be one of his best moves after all he just have to play his cards right.
