You do realize that pop and rock together account for more than half of the international music market's revenue? The third largest genre is hip-hop/R&B (a particularly US dominant genre) at something like a 10% share of the global music market.

Not really, regardless you do not measure quality with quantity or money. Do you know how much effort is put into opera and Classical Music? Hundreds of years and we still listen to them. If Mozart alone was alive today, just because of the copyright, he would be a billionaire.

Bokurano wasn't bad.. Concept was pretty interesting but it was dramaish with their stories. Stories weren't too over the top or unreal overall. No happy ending though.

The Mascot type character is probably the best of it's type I have seen in any anime.

It is true you do not measure quality with quantity or money. You do, however, measure the market dominance of a product by it quantity and revenue.

It is true you do not measure quality with quantity or money. You do, however, measure the market dominance of a product by it quantity and revenue.

Mate, once again, in Asia or Africa, also SA, they don't really listen to those songs. Does Eminem sell outside the USA? Something in the UK. And Metallica? Not really that much in Asia. Opera and Classical have been listened to and played, even today, everywhere in the World for hundreds of years. But let's not go OT, everybody keeps his own opinion or facts.
