So McDonalds doesn't have diet coke anymore...
They only have coke no sugar now 🙄 I have so many problems with this, first of all why? Like just why? Coke no sugar is a stupid, stupid name for a drink and it tastes like Vietnamese toilet water mixed with bug spray. Why not just have both? Like is it so hard to have both?! Was there no market for diet coke? Was I the only human left who preferred it to Vietnamese toilet water? I'm not going there anymore, they can go to hell!

Oh, good for you, Ganger. I can picture you in your living room right now. Maybe sitting in a comfy chair. Got your pipe and slippers laid out. A cup of tea with two teaspoons of sugar is sitting there right next to you. The steam coming from it assures you nice and hot and ready. Let's give it a moment though. You rack the newspaper and start to read some bullsh!t about some bullsh!t. Aw man. What's this sh!t? You put the paper down in disgust and shake your head. What is this world coming to? Oh, but the tea. The sweet hot tea. You reach down and slowly put it to your lips as not to burn yourself. You take a sip. Aaaahhhh. Tea. Sweet tea.

True story:steamthumbsup: You miss one part tho, 'I then post the BS I read up about on the forums for you all to enjoy,

What is the difference between Diet Coke and Coke Zero?

well one's sugar free and the other's normal - Enterprofilenamehere. :spacepony:
one has a sugar substitute and the other has no sugar but replaced with other stuff
I can only imagine that last five pages are filled with people telling you that "Diet Coke" is a lie, and that it's a good thing McDonald's isn't helping to pimp that nonsense to fools.

From what I've read in your OP, it sounds like McDonald's is going through one of it's "trying to be decent" phases... how is that a bad thing?

Stop driking "diet" anything, fool. That crap is just as bad as the other poison they are selling. You want to care about your health, stop drinking pop, and eating at fast-food restaurants, ffs.

Artificial sweeteners are worse than cane sugar.

But not as bad for your teeth.
Maybe... at least directly in the mouth itself. Don't know if there are any internal effects that are bad for bone or gum health.

Coke Zero as a brand was intended (in my opinion) to replace Diet Coke. Why?

Because the concept of dieting is considered offensive nowadays.

Some university people decided the word "diet" was essentially fat-shaming.

The worst part is, this is probably...the truth.

No, it's not the truth. It's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lie.

That is the point. "Diet Coke" is disgusting. It is not good for you, it is not a better choice, it is filthy. Shame on you idiots for falling for such lazy marketing.

"I'm concerned about my weight, so I buy Diet Coke"? Are you insane?

If you cared about losing weight, or living a more healthy lifestyle, you would never reach for soda pop... imbecile.

When you eat a lot of fat and sugar drinking diet coke cancels the effects out. True fact. :demoneye::demoneye:

That pretty much sums up my lifetime's experience with the internet.

And this mental case nonsense comes with exactly no links, quotes, etc. Typical.

Soda pop is not a healthy option. Not if it has the word diet on it... not if it says it has no calories.... not if it promises to not ♥♥♥ in your mouth.

It's a lie.

You want something to drink that won't kill you, how 'bout a glass of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ water? Waaah, my region has toxic tap-water... so move, genius.

The water up here in the Pacific North West is some of the best water in the world. Come and enjoy it, and never give your money to liars again.

It always comes down to choices and consequences.

Other than hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated oils (trans fats), fats in general aren't actually bad for you, nor do they make you fat. Fat and protein in natural proportions are actually what trigger and upregulate fat burning. Things like cacao and yerba mate can help reverse insulin resistance and accelerate conversion of white (long term storage) to brown (thermogenic and accesible) adipose (fat cell) storage. Carbs should be limited to 1/3 of daily intake. Seed oils (generally hot pressed and high omega 6) should be limited.

If it’s the same thing as diet coke, then it’s just a bigger marketing lie as an attempt to be clever and trick people, because instead of saying what’s in it, they’re saying what’s not. It’s an incredibly common marketing ploy for a company to put “contains no ____” to sell a product that never had any of whatever the thing is that isn’t in it anyway. Like “contains no gluten” or whatever. “Sugar free” has been a really common label.

Sugar is a word that can be used broadly too. People use it to refer to all sorts of things that aren’t table sugar. Perhaps the only context where “no sugar” is true, is that the product wasn’t made with love for others. It’s a pretty racist name in that context though.

If those idiots want to change something into a better name maybe stop naming the product after a drug that’s used to make money off of destroying people’s lives.

I mean who goes to McDonalds anyway?

I do :aos2kae:.

McDonald's is the only fast food place with a drive-through around here :hp_kyu:.

I usually drink coffee instead of coke.
I mean who drinks diet soda anyways, it's toxic
Soda is one of the easiest ways to get type 2 diabetes. I get that sometimes you need to eat outside just to literally survive, but there is absolutely no reason to get soda along with it. Drink water instead.

It's fine in moderation. Once and a while it's fine but if you're drinking it every day it's a problem. Fruit juice is really no better either.
