the characters were terrible. the no plot. robots with ai and are picky about armor?


Mar, Shinzo, rave master and monster rancher all flipped on its head in the second half, everything was screwed up from what i remembered

Paranoia Agent was great. I don't like much anime except for the classics, but that's one I really enjoyed. It was so weird and interesting.

Paranoia Agent was great. I don't like much anime except for the classics, but that's one I really enjoyed. It was so weird and interesting.

For some reason it didn't gel with me, which is odd considering I really liked Lain, Texhnolyze and Boogiepop Phantom.

There's more than I can count, which is saying something because I've loved Japanese media since the heyday of Dic butchering IPs and the tailend remnants of the Satanic Panic claiming that Pokémon will turn your kids into Satanists or that Sailor Moon will cause them to become homosexuals.

Course they didn't say anything about Samurai Pizza Cats or Fighting Foodons turning you into a furry and they shut the ♥♥♥♥ up about that sort of thing by the time Monster Rancher came about. Unsure if they even gave two ♥♥♥♥♥ about Digimon despite the fact that even the butchered dubs had some pretty dark content - especially season 3.

Regardless, I'll just keep it to series I've actually bought physical copies of. Am I going to go into detail about each one?

No, because I got woken up in the dead of night by my neighbor and her two yap-dogs and I need a shower. Anyways, list.

Gainax should've just stuck with making video games, albeit they should not have had CFK do the localizations for them because they literally just use Google Translate. Plus they're inclined to bend the knee to the Daughters of Megalia, but what Korean video game company isn't?

I can get myself into whatever anime I want if I convince myself.
I could watch some that I'd consider boring, but why'd I do that, right?

The only problems I've had when it comes to watching animes were me getting attached to the story and characters' personalities; I've read through Steins;Gate visual novel, but I can't seem to get past the anime.. I think, I'd easily get into it if I'd have tried hard enough to find somebody to acompany me while we'd be watching it, but watching it alone? Not a chance!
The story's way too depressing..

Well, Evangelion is kinda important for that subtype of anime. It kinda had to be done. But, well, I just can't get into it. Like, it's just embarassing to watch past a couple of episodes for me.
