Are the 2020s the absolute worst decade?
It is just me? I know we're only into 2023, but holy moly.

Lets see, lost all my friends who became radicalized and deranged.
Covid screwed up everything at home and in work.
Lost family members and relatives to cancer.
Cost of living crisis and strikes galore.

OP not living up to his name.
Yes cost of living has skyrocketed but this seems a worldwide problem not just one or two countries.

Politics has become super toxic, not that it ever wasn't that way before.

On the bright side we haven't had a world war
we still have 7 years left chill out bro

Pretty much... it's all downhill from here.
I think the first half of the 40's are the worst

It's just a repeat of the 1920s, also known as the Red Decade to those not beholden to the propaganda declaring it to be the Roaring Twenties. But then again the 20s are always insane, no matter the century.

So buckle up buckaroo, because history repeats itself and you've got another eight years of this ♥♥♥♥.

I want fancy suits, coats, genuine fedoras and a magic tommy gun like the one from Millers Crossing, if that's the case.

That’s what happens when all western countries support mass immigration. More people and not enough houses.

If the USA, Canada, Europe and Australia didn’t allow so many immigrants like Japan housing costs would go down and make things more affordable for them.

One thing about immigration is that it lowers the cost to pay workers but you don’t hear as much about the negatives like housing costs.
Erm. Have you seen the aging problem we got over here with our population? We need that workforce otherwise it's going to be way worse than without it in the near future. I have no idea how its going in the USA. But, its not the same reality here.
1860's says hello.(at least in the US)

Many houses stand empty. If people would treat houses like places to live in, instead of places to invest in - it would be much different. Also a roof over the head is no human right, for whatever reason.

Then the "native" populations are declining. With wealth and some financial security, if it´s about pensions, You don´t need to have children, which on top cost money. Usually the poor people have more children, but the wealthier population less or none. There are other things to do with the time and money. Also being married or having a lifetime partner isn´t that important if everyone can live individually. Also the EU does it´s very best that people die in the Mediterranean sea - and there are contracts with all the nations surrounding the EU to not let them pass. So i guess the EU does something against mass immigration. Frontex is the biggest growing EU institution.
20, 21 was weird...but I enjoyed those years. I've learned so much about life in the past 3 years than in the past decade
one of the best if not the best trust me.
coming from someone lost their own House their Friends and everything else but The Future is very Bright waiting for us.
Yeah, I see the world going downhill. But today is not that day.

Today we can still do lots o' things. And it ain't so bad if you turn down the volume.

Rush sing's about the beach I used to swim at

1977 was one of the best years of my life

Lived in St Catharines in port dalhousie and went to the beach at lakeside park as a child 8 years old, beach was 5 blocks away from home and stayed tell dark, Older sibling's had to come and get me, people drinking beer at the park, beer hidden in garbage containers or bush, used to find sand worn broken beer bottle glass, green and brown and clear, all smooth and thought it was gems lol there's a small canal for sailboats to enter lake Ontario and on the other side was yacht club, there used to be 5 story high sand hills that they'd spread out across lakeside park beach and we used to play on those huge sand hill piles, lost many tonka trucks in those sand hill's

You can no longer swim at lakeside park , because lake Ontario is so polluted from sewage draining into it from all City's near the lake

Whenever I get my ears checked at the doctors office, the doctor is amazed I'm not deaf from all the scar tissue in my ears

17 and 18 year old age and concerts I'll never forget

1986 seen AC/DC and L.A. Guns here in Ottawa at the civic centre (a indoor hockey arena )where I live now in Ottawa, And AC/DC played 21 gun salute with Cannons going off during the song and are ears rang from the cannon going off, my friend and I were shouting at each other after the concert, because are ears were ringing from the song still

Around the Same year or so I Seen Iron Maiden and Twisted Sister was there opening act and Iron Maiden brought out a huge eddie puppet on stage, we where all standing raising are fists , some where doing the head bangin thing when they played run to the hill's , that too was at the civic centre here in Ottawa
