Are the 2020s the absolute worst decade?
It is just me? I know we're only into 2023, but holy moly.

Lets see, lost all my friends who became radicalized and deranged.
Covid screwed up everything at home and in work.
Lost family members and relatives to cancer.
Cost of living crisis and strikes galore.

Have you seen how people dressed 30 years ago?

Not sure about worst, generally speaking. World War decades were pretty bad too. But it may be the worst decade of someone's life though.

It's just a repeat of the 1920s, also known as the Red Decade to those not beholden to the propaganda declaring it to be the Roaring Twenties. But then again the 20s are always insane, no matter the century.

So buckle up buckaroo, because history repeats itself and you've got another eight years of this ♥♥♥♥.

Probably the 1340s were worse, when half of Europe´s and a third of the middle eastern population died. Also 1940s weren´t thaaat nice i guess.

Worst decade since the 50's? Perhaps. Worst decade for 2000 years? Definitely not.
There are so many different ways to measure it, and we are only 3 years in so there's still hope for us.

1910's and 1940's would like to have a word with you.

Read the 1963 communist goals, it takes 3 minutes.

I have stumbled upon a rumour that during a serious test within CERN years ago, whole EARTH is entered a parallel dimension. No scientist dared to admit it in public, because they still couldn't find a way back to the old and original dimension we came from.

Matrix movie has also pointed that "future" out with signages throughout the 1st 2nd and 3rd installments.

Also, read Cass Sunstein's papers on cognitive infiltration.
In my lifetime certainly, although there is still some time for the 20's to redeem itself.

2020 was the best year of the decade.

Less work while getting paid (+ govt covif benefits aka Jobkeeper for all the employed), gave me lots of tax returns.

and it was just me and 3 others while everyone was working from home. Manager didn’t care if I was late and she would tell me to go home early 1 or 2 times a week.

I got to wake up 30 minutes late because the traffic was non-existent.

I really miss the quiet atmosphere. The only downside is I got fat due to prolonged lockdowns and it was hard to get back in shape when things went back to normal.
