I hear you about BMI. But my lying eyes don't deceive me. The CDC and WHO stats unfortunately play out with my observations. I see fat people everywhere. No sixth sense necessary. No journal articles necessary. No bullsh!t necessary.
Obesity is a lifestyle choice. And a lifestyle choice that affects not only their health, but costs everyone cuz we're all paying for them.
People make all sorts of poor decisions in life. Obesity is just one of the most apparent.

Tbh usually fast food workers including some of my friends are all somewhat skinny. They know what they serve up and how. They know that that sloop ain't worth it.
Have a family who worked at auntie annes. First couple of days/weeks she got free leftover pizzas and stuff. But after awhile she stopped mostly b/c you get sick of cooking and eating the same thing day in and day out. She'd still bring some home but mostly for everyone else who doesn't or isn't able to eat there everyday.
Had another friend who worked at sonic. He said the worst was scooping out the milkshake machine every week. Smelled like sour spoiled rotten milk and he had to do it by hand.
Even at restaurants the waiters cooks etc all get sick of seeing and handling the same food day in and day out.
Oh, what do I spy with my little eye? Another fat prancin' unicorn. With a health care price tag attached to their horn that flutters then the mane is flicked.
I know it's wrong, but that phrase always makes me chuckle.
Reminds me of Billy Connolly's comments about it.
"MORBID obesity. Imagine having something wrong with ya, that was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MORBID"
We are not storing calories as that would mean we would be getting fat from sitting in the sun or sitting in front of fire.
