Which classic console had the best controller in your opinion? These days probably either ps5 or Xbox but if you look back what is your favorite overall controller

Hey don't knock them if it wasn't for those silly Tiger LCD games there would have been no gameboy or anything that got inspired to do that.

The trackpad is a PC input device that is close enough to mouse input to use, and enables a number of PC games to work. So virtually EVERY PC game makes use of the trackpad, its just that it is optional in some.

We're talking about console controllers, so he's not talking about the Steam controller Valve made, which is kind of sensibly designed for that purpose. He's talking about the Dualshock 4 Sony made, and to be honest, the dual shock 4's trackpad is kind of silly. There is no way that is a useful spot for any sort of timely input if you are already using the traditional controls on the controller. It is just the last spot left on a traditional controller to put anything of any sort.

I mean, it's technically better to have it if it is otherwise unobstructive if you need it, than to not have it and want it, but Sony doubled down on the silliness by making the playstation 4's web browser incompatible with it, which is its most practible usage scenario.

It seems probable that the only reason Sony even bothered was to try and come up with a partial answer to the touchscreen Nintendo introduced on the Wii U tablet and uses on the Switch.

console and pc are not 2 separate markets. this is despite consoles and their accessories being promoted, packed and delivered as such market. consoles are products of pc.

360 controller feels the best in the hand, but the sticks feel a little more precise on the DS4. I've never used an XBone controller, but I'm assuming it would be the same as the 360 controller but maybe with better sticks, so that could very well be the winner.

Everything else is out of the question imo. I've been known to use one of these old antiques though:
