Most unknown animal that you know of

Alright so a few weeks ago I discovered that an animal exists called a "Sloth Bear"... I think they're called sloth bears because they only eat insects. But their faces also look different than a normal bear's. I was surprised I'd never heard of them before when I found out they existed

Any of you guys have a similar experience where you discovered a real animal and were really surprised/intrigued by it?
