The PS2 is the coolest console of all time. (Here's Why)

This console, held more games than any other could even come close to, had a ♥♥♥♥ ton of exclusives because of how many small indie games, Japanese titles were on the console.

Had a start up screen where a certain number of towers sat at the bottom was equal to the number of game save files you have and their height was how long you had time played in them.

Every game had their own custom save icons which I am fascinated by and obsessed with. Idk how there is not a wiki for them alone. They can be 3D figures, they can have animations, delete animations, some even change after a certain point of the game.

The amount of cool and absolute amazement the PS2 has still blows away anything else to this day, but hell, some of the greatest games ever are PS2 games too.

Ps2 is the best and i grew up with ps1. Ps5 is the worst. Yes games have better graphics and yes they are less clunky but they lack in love and passion. You now have to subscribe to be able to safe your games and all that garbage. Well consoles lost their appeal. The simple just buy it in the store and play doesn’t exist anymore they are just subscription boxes. And subscriptions are the worst thing. For movies they are acceptable

Let alone you had a huge leap with that console still remember mgs2 and one of my favorite games is on there. Legaia 2 duel saga. Games are pretty stagnated at this point

yeah current scenarko with modern consoles is ugly. pc will probably only continue to grow here on out

Some of my favorite memories were with my GameCube and PS2.

I will say though, having a lot of games is great and all, but much like the Wii, that doesn't mean best console, it means a crap load of garbage to search through to find games that are actually good. But a bigger selection is better than hardly any.
