Is there a gaming community that isn't toxic af?

Pokemon is pretty toxic even without the nuzlock community, lots of people trying to scam pixels, and lots of fighting/namecalling over trivial things. Lol

I mean its rather bad when RTGames, a person I love to watch when bored, did one for I think Pokemon Shield(?) he literally did it for the heck of it, upon posting that one guy on youtube actually watched it and for once oddly enough didnt say he was bad but said he learned several things through RTGames that made the rules slightly change for Shield-based Nuzlockes, especially when Zaptos got fried in one hit, at level 100, by a level 50 rocktype I think, its been a while but ya.

True, anyone remember when FNAF and Undertale were actually good games that were fresh off the belt before they had more AU's invented then there are types of edgy Latin user named people on steam?

Never got into FNAF just because....a huge portion of the fanbase are pre-teens. Plus, I just don't enjoy the horror genre.

my god, humans calling eachother names? I haven't ever seen that before in life. If only people would just put their emotions away and never have any issues with eachother. I don't think I've ever seen that before in and out of every social gathering of any kind.

Thats kinda my point, prior to it being over ran it was literally a GameJolt winner of indy horror, that had Scott try his luck with it on Steam, seriously like imagine knowing that if we toss the fandom out of the picture, FNAF is literally just a game that was literally made for an indy game development website horror mashup xD

Just dont mention Zone or basically Minus8 near them and you'll be fine, if you know who those two are, then you'll know why I bring them up and why those two and Animal Crossing are meme'd to this day.

IME on games where STRATEGY is the dominating force the community is fine. For many different genres including card better, base builder, economy sim. Possibly applies to most single player games.

Anonymity brings the worst out of people. People will say the most messed up things because they can. There is not a single online community that isn't somewhat toxic.
Gaming communities tend to be extra toxic because people take games a bit too seriously.
This will never really change. Portal and Animal Crossing are no exception.

And the best. You forgot the other part, the charity and heroism annominity brings out. It's the worst AND the best. It's why we don't allow masks during protests but do allow it in charity events. Annominity tends to loose our inhibitions, it's a double edges sword. People just keep harping on anything out of the ordinary.

Where else but the internet could a man give me the equivalent of 100 dollars, out of nowhere, for no reason at all. Warframe, mesa Prime(the whole thing) which at the time(it was out of drop at the time) was around 100 dollars.

You heard it here folks, according to videomike namecalling and acting like a petulant child is human behavior. As evident, by, well, his behavior.

I guess we're not allowed to have communities that aren't chalk full of manchildren throwing fits and slinging names.
