OT is fine as long as you ignore the bait threads.
handle anything other then super nice care-bear words.
i miss the old COD days when instead of complaining about something that doesn't
effect you in the slightest people would ya know.... stand their ground, say nothing or leave.
there's no reason you should let whatever i say or whoever for that fact online
annoy you. It's pretty insane that they take games so seriously that i'v seen
a huge amount of people stop playing a game they really enjoy
because of "Toxic community". . kinda sad actually.
Up to you @OP to decide which option suits you better in the long run, I do wish you good luck
Like I am afraid to say somethings just in case I get reactions that make things worse to me...
If you're asking if there's a community of people with an honest passion for their subject that will happen open up to share that subject, that would be damn near all of them. Yes a few places might tend to drag people in from unfortunate situation(see The Furry community) but they are the exception not the intent or rule. Enjoy the people you find and decide for yourself what you want. Gatekeeping can't keep Keemstars from appearing from time to time without doing more harm than good, and those kinds of people don't prevent you from focusing on the people who DO enjoy it.
