Does "This is the End" count as a disaster movie?

Probably this one mainly because it's the most accurate about what humans will do.

2012. That monk's death tho.

Honestly, I think which would I rather have, died in the arms of my Father on the beach (<3) or as the monk on top of the mountain gonging everyone else. Ahh! Bye.

They had the beach death in Deep Impact

2012 was fun because of the amount of disaster and the bad acting

That Monk was metal

That is still a good movie even today despite the 70s production values and use of Irwin Allen Props off Lost In Space.... Lots of reasonably good acting and drama.

For those who were alive in the 70's it kinda made sense.

It was a rather turbulent decade and at times a number of those disaster flicks from the 70's somewhat captured the sentiment.

The Swarm
70s horror movie about bees attacking everyone

The Core
Yes it got bashed and stabbed by the critics and the public but I love it
