For every one of those except immersion, Doom Eternal is a master class, every gun is fun to use, the noises are all distinct and every enemy and even parts of the levels play into the combat puzzle. More gamers will probably prefer the more casual nature of Doom 2016, but that nails immersion a bit more with the more intense atmosphere and completely 1st person experience.
Now on to the question what makes a good FPS. Well I would say the shooting would have to be on point. Literally. But I would love it to have a fairly robust character customization and variety of weapons with their own customization. So something like Deus ex human revolution. That's one of my favorite games.
-smooth, responsive, intuitive controls/mechanics (you'd be surprised how games screw this up)
-intelligent AI
-visceral, satisfying combat (top-notch particle effects, physics, ragdolls, sound effects, etc)
-great level design
-meaningful innovation
the game has super naturals things going on but you get plenty of levels with humans enemies.
The soundtrack is amazing and fit the gameplay very much , the level design is filled with secrets you might miss on your first time playing it , the A.I is very competent for such an old game and the level design doesn't have any important flaws.
it doesn't have health regen but is usually very generous with healing items.
Not all games give lootcrates for AFK... I have near 2000+ in Heroes & Generals and there's no such thing like that in the game... it's all playing.
Gunz Come Out, post #mid 20's
If it has any kind of paid DLC, its cosmetic in nature only
It has very little to absolutely no RNG elements if its a PvP game (this one is highly subjective but I personally just do not enjoy genres which put a heavy emphasis on luck)
The game is simple to pick up and understand but hard to actually get great at playing
