There's no difference between the two?
I mean, it's proper noun English rules to use the capital letter, but this is the internet, we don't need to use proper noun usage. :P
I guess you are right. There is no difference between vaccine (injecting cowpoop) vs. vaccine (injecting pathogen to create immunity for that specific pathogen) vs. vaccine (a preparation that lessens severity of a disease) either.
The 3 words are grammatically all completely the same so I don't know why people can't tell them apart.
The English Language is confusing.
Ukranian - citizens of the state "Ukraine"
Okay I guess that makes sense.
You sure? Because anyone who lives in a country is called with a capital letter.
Hence American.
There's no american person.
English is very confusing.
Hmm. If I am incorrect then it simply means I have not been speaking English, but rather a constructed language similar to English because English (by design) sucks balls at distinguishing certain concepts.
Cops and Lawyers do that every day all day for the purpose of deceiving people.
Nothing to do with Cops though.
You sure about the last bit? Cops are trained to use what is called legalese in order to bind you to a contract. Legalese is variation of English. But perhaps I am wrong also as I am conflating "cops" with "police officers". Police officer is a job which task is to enforce policies. What I said applies to them. They use legalase in order to hold you accountable to contracts (policies).
I say this not because my uncle was a former cop and also became a U.S Customs Agent. :P
Also, even if that were the case (which it surely is not); Ukraine's low military spending and the overall development of the country + conflicts with Russia, makes it highly unlikely that existing NATO countries would've been willing to even ratify such membership application, prior to the attack.
NATO is a defensive alliance and poses no threat to countries that are not seeking to invade & undermine the sovereignty of the member countries.
There are primarily two ethnic groups in Ukraine, and yes, they've been divided for a long time, since before Ukraine was even it's own country after the USSR collapsed. Those who identify as Ukrainian, and those who Identify as Russian, which primarily live in the eastern provinces that voted to separate from the western provinces that are almost entirely ethnic ukrainian. And yes, when you hear groups in Ukraine say they want a Ukraine free of Russians, there's a reason they phrase it as Russians, and not Russian soldiers, because many want the ethnically Russian population kicked out, or worse.
Much of this has been going on since the 1990s but has been mostly uninteresting to people in the west, which is why you still find so many people who actually believe this is a 2022 issue.
