You could get a viral infection with a coronavirus and not have covid. Similarly, you could get covid, and that's from a coronavirus. It's not a specific virus, it's a type of virus.

Additionally to your initial comment on the thread, even in my country nobody gives a ♥♥♥♥ anymore. The media has fed us up the ass with the government politicizing the subject beyond recognition. If the topic gets brought up again, people just turn to the next channel. We gotta accept this virus isn't going anywhere and just live with it - and that's perfectly alright. That's how nature works. Just hope we have the best preventatives available to us.
