Not because it's worth 70.
If it were, it'd never go on sale, ever.
You said it's worth 70 because it's worth 70, by my reading.
but then if this -were- true, games wouldn't become cheaper as they get older, or go on ever higher discounts/sales, why would you if they're -worth- 70? - essentially. once they're made, the majority of the cost is gone, and it all goes up in profit once they go into the green.
I'm saying that the cost was *never* worth 70, but the cost they evaluate it at, is essentially what they value peoples greed, and 'desire to play it now', at.
Which is 70. in this example.
Let's discuss that instead.
Just based on nothing.
which is what I said - it's what they're worth at release day, because it's the selfish peoples need to play it day 1 - those who have throwaway cash - and who don't wait for a sale
Prices will always go up.
Because if they will pay 70. They will pay 71.
if they will pay 71. They will pay 72
...one day it will be 100. and they will say
why not 101.
I never said we weren't.
That FF7 remake wow.... 80 bucks for each "disk" or "episode". Wtf if I had kids, I would be pissed to have to pay for the same epic story at that price, when I got to experience when I was younger at like 50 bucks.
