This is so frustrating, there are so many times and games where playing as a male character you can only be the big 6'2 foot muscle bound male that you cant help but feel emasculated because it doesn't give you the chance to be anything but that, World of Warcraft is a good example of this, you can't be a skinny or thin and toned human warlock, there is no other male build options so the only other choice is to play a female character, doesn't make you feel so great trying to project yourself in a game but bring up a female pose and next minute its fixed to accomodate one persons feeling because its "Sexual".
Believe it or not, sometimes the sexualization actually is out of place and should be removed or toned down.
To get this point across, lets look at two sexualized characters and see how it works for one and not the other.
First off is Jessica Sherawat from Resident Evil: Revelations

Next is Bayonetta

Jessica is an agent of the fictional organization, Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA). Her job involves shooting villainous science projects. Despite this, she sees it fit to dress as if she has a photo shoot in five minutes. It's particularity jarring when compared to the more appropriately dressed Jill Valentine.

Bayonetta, on the other hand, is one of the few remaining members of the umbra witch clan and spends her days fighting angels. The entire game's theme is sexiness and Bayonetta's character and looks were designed with this in mind. Bayonetta's sexual design is entirely appropriate since it fits with her sexual personality. Also, the design of witches in general are based on 17th century witches who were sexual and cast magic with their hair, but I had trouble confirming this, so feel free to take this sentence with a grain of salt. Though I suppose not taking my word for it wouldn't really help any argument you'd make.
So to bring this back to the topic of feminism, I don't deny that they hate sexualization and will make a fuss until they get what they want. But that doesn't mean that they're the fault of every instance of a company removing sexual content. Sometimes the creators just don't like the way an idea turned out, and if removing that idea just so happens to be something a group you don't agree with would want, doesn't magically make it their fault.
Just remember that the person that started it all had zero issue with the character Widowmaker and her sexually suggestive pose.
I honestly don't know what's so horrible about censorship in stuff like this.
Censoring gameplay, I understand; censoring dialogue to something that sounds stupid as to not offend Tumblr, I get it; changing the enemies to something dumb looking as to not look as scary for the children, ok. Having one character not show their butt? I really don't know what's so bad. There are billions of better looking butts on the internet, and at your local strip club. If you are that desperate to look at a butt, you have Google Images on your side.
I just don't understand why doing something so small is so terrible.
Agreed with this quote and the quote inside.
As it stands, someone made the suggestion, they agreed and made the change. There's nothing wrong with that.
It's just high school/college/fresh out of college kiddies who have nothing to protest against making mountains out of mole hills.
Fortunately for us, the digital age has led to the ability to permanently record and catalogue people's (usually ♥♥♥♥♥♥) opinions.
Because I have nothing better to do than fap over a 3D animated butt.
"Women are not objects!"
I never said you were. Neither is your butt. I can't just pick up a butt like I can a pencil, can I? It's attached.
Haven't people got anything better to do than moan about a 3D ass? They must get a surge of 'moral righteousness' from 'stamping out the sexualization of women!'.
Edit: I didn't read any previous comments nor did I watch the video btw.
First day on the internet can be a rough one.
