Weeaboo?
So I've always been fond of anime, sometimes watch it. I've met quite a lot of weeaboos. Even dated one. Recently, I started up a group for Facebook called Weeaboo Supporters. Cause I feel as if Weeaboos are bullied and picked on way too much. Of course some of them are annoying, but everyone is annoying to someone. Everyone has an obsession. Obsessions are not bad. Even calling yourself Japanese and obsessing over the culture isn't. I absolutely despise people who use Weeaboo as an insult or bully Weeaboos. Not all Weeaboos are fat pieces of sh*t who sit around all day eating pocky with a waifu pillow trying to learn Japanese. There's too many stereotypes for Weeaboos. I've seen people go to the extent of saying "F*cking kill yourself, you f*ggot piece of weeaboo trash. You're a little sh*t." Which is extremely immature, rude and wrong to say. Weeaboos are people too. They're different. They're weird. That's not bad. What's your stance on Weeaboos? Just a little thought I wanted to get out here. Good day :P

My recommendation would be to throw out the dictionary of Ayn Rand. The woman believed that caring for others was the root of all evil. She wasn't well.

No, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, she believed that valuing oneself was the source of caring for others, and it is. You have no value for her, because you are a brainwashed tool who calls valuing oneself evil. How can you have love to give if you have none for all?

But I'll tell you what, social engineer. I can obviously kick your a$$ on any level, so why don't you let me **** your girl because it would be better for the species?

You're cool with that, right? You understand that the survival of the species is based upon adapatability?

Of course you aren't, because you weren't designed that way, s***-for-brains. What would you do? Breed sons and daughters meant for rape?

And so I give you a choice. Face me, in all your wreathed failure, adapt, or just ***ing die. My colors are flying high, sir, and where are yours?

Until you are rady to face them, I grant you mercy.

I'm generally fine with people and their interest or love for certain cultures...

But it is weird when they're obsessed to the point that they believe they're Japanese because they changed their name... Like from John to Keito or something.
Lel. True. I've actually thought about changing my name to something anime related. Maybe even my kids.
I pity your kids.

I love the Japanese culture, the people, the way of life and I also enjoy anime... I recently visited Tokyo and instantly fell in love with the place, it's somewhere I could see myself seriously moving to in a few years if everything goes right...

People have interests that others don't and I also think it's childish tarnishing a group of people with the same brush because they enjoy the same things.

It's like gamers get tarnished with the "oh you must be a fat, socially awkward, got no friends 13 year old" or "you're probably like comic book guy from the Simpson"

The only people I've known to use terms like Weeaboo are children aged under 21..... I think it's based on their poor level of understanding that people enjoy certain things and no matter how odd you might find it or if you can't accept that then that's your problem alone.

It's almost like you all think that weeaboo is a term people use to describe people who like anime, it isn't, that's an otaku. A weeaboo is someone OBSESSED with Japanese culture and all the japanese they know has been learned from anime, they use those words they've learned every day and act like they're full fledged japanese citizens (which they're not). If you're just INSTERESTED in Japanese culture, like anime and you learn the language for other reasons than to sound like an idiot around all your friends i.e. you want to live in japan, then you're not a weeaboo.

Yeah, way to go, shoving your obsession onto your kids that may end up hating and resenting you for it.

If you try to fight against haters, you'll only make matters worse.

This is coming from a guy who likes furry art and also really likes MLP.

I can assure you; at the end of the day, it's best not to even give them any attention.

I have gotten into many, many arguments against anti-bronies in the past. I regret every word I have ever said to them.

After a long time of getting hate, being stereotyped, etc., I realized that fighting against them does nothing. It only makes the problems you're fighting against worse.

Moreso, it also messes with your sanity, and you eventually become what you are trying to fight against.

I know it sucks, having to ignore someone you cannot stand, I understand that. But you eventually learn to live with simply not caring about them.

If you instead just live happily and away from the hate, you'll live a happier, less stressful life than they ever will. In the end, you'll be the one who wins more than they ever will.

I have been deep in a few toxic communities; mostly the YouTube comments and the CS:GO forum. I have had a Minecraft profile picture and I was a hardcore brony for a time. After all that mess, I learned that there was nothing one can truly do except ignore them. Again, I regret every moment of even responding to them.

Trolls? Haters? Why not both?
Every time you see a hater, just assume they're a troll and DON'T RESPOND! Because what's the point of writing a 2-page hate speech if no one cares? It won't matter if they actually hate or not, because if they see that no one really gives a flying frick about them, they'll go away.

They're kind of like a mosquito bite: just don't scratch no matter how hard it is to resist and it'll heal. If you scratch, you'll make it worse.

Yeah I understand what the term describes, I'm saying I just don't agree with the whole fabrication of a term that describes a group of people based on their interests... I wouldn't even say I'm an Otaku either, even though that term has become less negative it was originally created to stereotype a group of people, so only because now do people self-proclaime to be Otaku doesn't mean others don't still use the term as a negative stereotype term for others like myself because I watch anime and like the japanese culture...

Weeaboo now is a term much like Otaku was back in the 80's which is to wrongfully stereotype a group of people, the only difference is Otaku was first used in an article in a magazine in Japan without the intention of being negative where as although I'm not sure how Weeaboo has come about its intended purpose is to be a negative stereotype.
