Looking for a competitive deck-building game that is not P2W
Please note that it does not necessarily have to be a card game (can be a squad game, like XCOM), but it's critical that it's based around skill (and some luck), but that the size of the wallet of the users. Also, has to be turn-based, not real time.

Hearthstone, Duelyst and even the upcoming Chronicle: RuneScape Legends fall in this mistake: one player can spend hundreds of dollars, buy packs, deconstruct them, purchase super rare cards.

I know that in those card games, cards alone don't win games, but they sure as hell help.
Other type of card games, like NetRunner or Chaos Reborn, are based off a preset decks. Everyone has access to the same cards, and what matters is what you do with them.

Looking for more online games like the latter examples.

Hearthstone isn't that P2W, more pay to skip the grind for cards.

Read the text! I specifically say that Heartstone is a bad game for that exact reason! It's grindy or P2W!

But Hearthstone isn't pay2win.. If you're good, you can beat anyone as a free player, so why is it pay2win?

But it really is a good game, it's not pay2win and a lot of people are playing it, and you can play it for free, why do you not want that?
